Do I get a certificate?

YES, at the end of the training you will get a badge certifying that you participated in the DP4G training. This badge shows that you have dealt with the topic of data protection and that you are familiar with the basic principles of it.

How many people participate in each session ?

Each training session is live online and will include 5 to 10 participants maximum. We believe that interaction is key. That is why we prefer smaller training groups to ensure a participative course roll-out.

Do i need to have prior knowledge?

No, for neither of the two trainings prior knowledge is necessary. The fundamental training will provide you with the basic skills to apply responsible data management and protection. For the advanced training, it can be helpful to have prior knowledge in order to quickly understand critical contexts and the concepts we present. However, it is not indispensable and everybody is welcome!

What is the language of the training ?

We offer trainings in various languages on different days. At the moment, the trainings take place in English, French and Spanish.

to which time zone do the training dates refer?

The training dates you find on the calendar take place within CET time zone. However, we are flexible and can adapt to other time zones. If you have a preferred time and/or date, please write to contact@bouste.org and we can see our availability for additional trainings.

CAN I CHANGE THE TRAINING FOR ANOTHER DATE?

We know that some unexpected changes might occur in your agenda. Therefore, we give you the possibility to postpone your booking to the next course if places are available.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I DO NOT ATTEND THE BOOKED TRAINING?

No refund will be made for non-attendance on a course in the following cases: 

What Type of personal information will you hold ?

By the nature of our business activity, we may hold the following information:

Name, address, passport  and contact details;

Date of birth, gender, nationality and residence status;

Occupation and company details;

Bank details, tax status, payment history;

Other information relevant to our statutory functions.

Why do you process this information and what happens with my data?

We are processing this information in order to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations. Ensuring compliance with legal, technical and health security and safety regulations is one of our main priorities. We want to ensure that you are adequately covered where applicable under our insurance policies. As specified in our GDPR compliant data protection policy, we will not sell, disclose, share, publish or distribute your data nor use it for any unrelated or secondary purposes unless required to do so to meet any legal obligations we may have.

CAN I ACCESS OR DELETE MY DATA ?

You can contact us at any time requesting for your data to be deleted. The process usually takes 2 to 3 working days. To exercise your right just send us an email to contact@bouste.org.
